What Is Vital to Learning?

The purpose of this module is to explore critical factors involved in learning to see how “vital” they are in different subjects and for various stages of any learning process.

Supplies and Resources you will need for this module

  • 5 strips of paper, post-its, or cards to write the five topics on. (Alternately you can print "Mod A _Topics_colorstrips.pdf" and cut into 5 strips.)

  • Colored markers, if desired.

5. Consider & Comment

Are the Vital Signs vital to ALL kinds of learning or only to certain stages of learning?

If you are new on a job or have moved to a new town or are encountering a new device for the first time, do the Vital Signs apply?
